Crosseyed Cats Play The Blues For You

About Us

The main thing is that it's the blues... Archaic or contemporary, Chicago or Texas ... BLUES. The musicians, called "cross-eyed cats" after Muddy Waters' song character of the same name, love this music and are happy to share their love with their listeners.

The band, founded by guitarist Andrey Sorokin in 2013, has become a notable phenomenon on the Moscow blues scene in a relatively short time and is loved by blues fans in Vladimir, Lipetsk, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Cherepovets, Yaroslavl...

Cross-Eyed Cats play the blues in all its diversity, sounding equally organic "in electric" with a brass section and in chamber format of the acoustic trio. Their repertoire includes about a hundred songs of different times, from the 1930s and 1940s to the present day. There are also whole thematic programs devoted to the works of the masters of blues (T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters, Albert King), as well as to separate directions in blues and rhythm-and-blues.

High performing skills, perfect sense of style, emotional delivery, harmonious combination of improvisation and careful attention to original arrangements make the performances of Cross-Eyed Cats bright and memorable.
